HOW WE UNDERSTAND INNOVATION

Innovating is to create new futures, is a way of being and a constant search that occurs through people. At Yuken we see innovation as a means to generate impact and transformation.

Tackling highly risky, ambiguous and uncertain activities is not easy, and innovation is no exception. So, how to learn innovation from design? How to achieve innovation in a consistent and predictable way? To answer these questions, it is essential to have a team capable of managing processes, methods and tools that foster the development of agile and effective solutions, while managing their own cognitive and emotional limitations.

In Yuken we identify the purpose of a transformation process so that organizations can develop their ability to innovate, achieving their goals and generating more value both internally and externally. This process includes all members of the organization, from senior management to development teams, and considers organizational transformation, training of specialized teams in innovation processes in technical and attitudinal areas, and support in the development of projects with a focus on systemic implementation.

Our impact range is indicated by the capacity of organizations to innovate autonomously, the value generated by the portfolio of challenges on innovation, and the cultural change that results from a consistent innovation behavior.

We ask the right questions
To innovate we must consider an innovation project as a path of learning and discovery regarding: (i) what is the real problem we need to solve? (ii) what is the best solution to solve that hidden problem? and (iii) how to implement that solution in a sustainable way over time?

We train agents of change
We work installing the essential capabilities for a strategic, critical and innovative development within organizations, so that -after our intervention- they can put it into practice in an autonomous and organic way. We want them to see innovation as a viable and vibrant way to increase their sustainability and amplify their positive economic, environmental and social impacts. Our main objective is to enable the capacity to innovate autonomously. At Yuken we understand the capacity of innovation as an strategic intangible asset that every corporation has.

We are a global benchmark
We have our own methodology (defi)2, internationally endorsed for its effectiveness in promoting learning and innovation development within organizations. We are constantly updating, designing and creating new content to improve the impact of our interventions.

We promote transformation
At Yuken we strongly believe that innovation is a must, it is possible and it can be learnt. This conviction guides every project we undertake. Our mission is to facilitate innovation and learning from design to reinvent a world where people, companies and institutions can generate change, empathize, understand and adequately solve the needs of the environment and of a society that seeks answers and action.
